Goat milk is often consumed by young children, the elderly, those who are ill, or have a low tolerance to cow's milk. Goat milk is more similar to human milk than that of the cow. Although the West has popularised the cow, goat milk and goat cheese are preferred dairy products in much of the rest of the world.
Identical twin brothers Andriy and Taras Kogut grew up in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine. It was there they learnt the art of cheese making from their much loved grandmother who strongly believed in the health benefits of fresh yogurt. This very inspirational story of the brothers migrating to Australia with very limited English and starting a business and adapting to the culture and improving their language skills by going to farmers markets touched our hearts. To add, their cheese is out of this world delicious and their motto of “all natural, all healthy, all fresh” makes it the ideal cheese that we are delighted to supply.
